大学英语六级考试，又称cet-6，是由国家统一出题的，统一收费，统一组织考试，用来评定应试人英语能力的全国性的考试，每年各举行两次。
英语六级阅读技巧：选词填空
特点：考验词汇、得分率低
第一步，标注词性，预先分组;
第二步，浏览全文，判断词性;
第三步，同性比较，精确定位;
第四步，带入选项，通读检查。
对原文空缺处的单词进行词性预判，对15个选项进行词性归类后，可以将选择范围逐渐缩小为4选1，3选1，甚至是2选1，这是选词填空解题的.关键步骤
英语六级阅读技巧：长篇阅读(段落匹配)
特点：长篇幅、多段落、难应对
首先浏览题目，找出关键词。建议采取先看题后看文章的策略。在浏览题目时，要注意划出句中的关键词，通过快速阅读题干中的若干条细节信息，考生可以迅速了解文章主旨大意，从而能在回头阅读文章时加快速度，节省定位时间。
然后回到原文，由易到难。一些题目中会有数字、时间、特殊字体(如大写字母、斜体等)等有明显特征的定位词，这些题目较容易，考生只要在文中找出含有相应明显特征的段落，即可迅速匹配，选出正确答案。
最后关注同义转述，做余下题目。有些题目是没有明显特征关键词的，这就考查考生对同义转述的敏感度，通常同义转述的途径有改变词性、使用近反义词、变换句式等，考生可以根据第一步划出的关键词，在第二段选择之后剩余段落中寻找相应的同义转述对应点，完成所有题目。
英语六级阅读技巧：仔细阅读(快速阅读)
特点：细节性、上下文
1.若针对举例子、名人言论、特殊符号后的内容出题，只读例子、名人言论、特殊符号前后句内容，即可选出正确答案。
2.如果只是针对某一段的内容提出问题的话，只看该段内容即可答题，而不必看完全文才做答。
3.选项中同义词替换的一般是答案，而与原文相同或极其相似的选项一般不是答案项。
4.选项中有绝对语气词的一般不是正确答案。
这些语气词有：always, the most, never, all, only, no, none, exclusively, hardly等，而选项中含有不十分肯定的语气词一般是正确选项。这些语气词：may, often, usually, might, could, more or less, possible, not necessarily等。
5.议论文中，那些符合一般常识的选项，富有深刻哲理，符合一般规律的选项常常是正确答案。

一.背单词的重要性
语言学家terrel认为，只要掌握了足够的单词，即使没有多少语法知识，外语学*者也能较好地理解外语和用外语进行表达。(我好像已经看到无数小同学怒扔语法书的场景)但是!!语言学家wilkins有一句经典的名言："没有语法只能传达很少(注意是很少)的信息，没有词汇则什么也无法传达。"美国语言学家diller研究表明，如果我们认识25个单词，*均每一页上我们就认识23%个单词;如果我们认识135个单词，该百分比就达到50%;2500个单词量相当于78%;5000个单词量相应于86%;10000个单词量相当于92%。

二.哪类单词最重要?
背单词的主要任务是解决三类词，名词，动词，形容词。但是名词其实是可以描述的，操作方法为：功能作用描述词 属性词。例如：六级翻译中的"火药"，正确说法是gunpowder。但是考前没记过，也不用捉急，可以描述为blasting(爆炸功能) powder (属性为粉末)。在阅读理解中，如果遇到不认识的词，直接把它理解成某某某东西继续往下读，就可以啦。而且，在阅读理解中，不认识的名词可以帮助定位。四六级有3%的超纲率，所以即使考前横扫单词大纲的同学，一篇文章会有四五个单词不认识，用圈圈(当然看个人喜好，方块也是可以的哈)画出来，后面有惊喜哦。你会发现文章后的题目中，这个生词些许就成了定位词，这个时候在考场上千万要控制自己的情绪，不要高兴过头啊。有的同学说，呀，这样的话，我满篇都是圈圈，要密集恐惧了。对于这种同学，我也只能说，且行且珍惜，重在参与吧。所以，对于时间紧任务重的同学，背单词的精力尽量放在动词和形容词上。

复述题是最简单的题型，但也是gre阅读部分出现得最多的题型。只要你能定位原文，问题就迎刃而解。题目问的内容中都已经在原文直接提到，只是用同义词或者不同的语言组织改写而已。常见的改写方式有形容词与副词之间的改写，动词与动名词之间的改写。技巧在于寻找词根。复述改写题提问的是文章中的某个细节，如组织结构词(原因，特点)，学科术语，行业术语，比喻，符号或者具体的数字。只要你能准确定位，这些题都比较简单，因为只是对原文的复述或改写：
